Office and Payment of Services Policies
We make every effort to keep down the cost of your dental care. Our fees are competitive with those of other dental practices in the Washington metropolitan area.

If your treatment program requires several visits, you will be given a written estimate and asked to make financial arrangements with a member of our administrative staff. In all cases, your treatment plan will be discussed with you prior to proceeding.

If no definite financial arrangements are made, full payment is expected at the time of each visit. We have various payment options for services rendered for your convenience:

Pesonal Checks

We accept local personal checks with proper identification.

Credit Cards

We accept most major credit cards -- Visa, Master Card and American Express.

Insurance

Insurance has become more complicated and tends to change frequently. Many employers now offer several options to their employees depending on the quality of coverage an individual prefers. These benefits are negotiated and contracted by your employer and the contract is between you, your employer and the insurance company. We are not a party to that contract.

Benefits

It has become more difficult, if not impossible, to estimate your insurance benefits for you. We will be happy to accept and file your insurance for you but ask that you accept responsibility for your portion at the time of services and any balance that insurance fails to pay. The benefits from dental insurance vary and are dependent upon what the employer pays for your coverage. The higher the premium paid by the employer, the higher the benfits paid. It would be helpful to both yourself and the office if you contact your health insurance representative to confirm what type of coverage you have especially related to dental care, whether there is a co-payment involved, and other issues related to participation.

In some cases we are not able to process your claim forms but rather the insurance company ask that you file a claim directly to them to be reimbursed. In such instances, you will be required to pay for services in full and submit your receipt and claim form to the insurance company.
